Our main focus for this past year was two-fold, hosting the District VII
meeting and being responsible for one of the luncheons for the state convention.
The Bulb & Blossom hosted the DISTRICT VII FALL MEETING. The theme
was "GARDENING ON THE PRAIRIE". The meeting was held downtown
Eunice at the historic Nick's on 2nd.
The attendance was high. The entertainment, guest speaker, as well as the meal was enjoyed by all.
Aside from the two big events, the club erected BIRD SANCTUARY SIGNS at
the entrances of our city. Moreover, we scanned the city on a bi-weekly
basis to award beautifully landscaped residences, businesses, and school.
Our meetings were filled with activity, from making decorations to guest speakers on various subjects relative to gardening.
The club hosted the ANNUAL TEA for the MISS EUNICE CONTEST. The year ended
with an installation luncheon, passing the gavel to our new president,
