General
Guidelines for submitting club articles and photographs.
Electronic Submissions
Submit your article and photos electronically.
It is best to embed the article into the e-mail and also attach a
Microsoft Word document (.doc) file.
Submit photos as attachments.
Duplicating Your Article AS IS:
To have your article published exactly as you have layed it out, submit
it as a word document (.doc). It will be converted to Adobe Acrobat
(PDF) format, which accurately duplicates your article's formatting and
style, so review everything carefully before submitting it.
Photographs should be embedded directly into your Word document file.
Size the image to fit comfortably on the page and avoid images that
fill the page entirely. Do ensure that the positioning for your
photographs are exactly where you want them. What you see is what you
will get.
Be sure to include all necessary captions as well a copyright credits.
Please do not send pdf files as they are difficult to work with and can
never be edited.
Build Your Own Club Web Site
Several clubs are using Weebly to build their website. Weebly uses an
easy drop and drag format. Go to http://www.weebly.com and give it
a try! Once you have created your page send the link to us for posting
on your district's web page.
Submitting Material
When submitting material, please include club name and district in the
subject line so that it doesn't get accidentally sorted to junk mail or
unintentionally deleted.
