| Exciting . . . and Educational ! What a wonderful COURSE 1 February 27, 28 & March 1, 2007 in Alexandria. Sponsored by District VIII Judges Council Martha McBurney, Chairman with Carla Gauthier, Asst. Chairman. Students were honored to have Harriet Osborne, NGC FSS Chairman teaching the design class and FSS & Symposiums Chairman, Sara Lee Jones, teaching the horticulture class. With 30+ in attendance, 15 of which were new students testing to become accredited Flower Show Judges, they were off and running with their first course in a 2 year long endeavor to become Accredited Flower Show Judges. All finished with a greater knowledge of horticulture and floral design and with the anticipation of receiving a passing grade within the following 6 weeks. |
