Pre-Convention Garden Tour

Come see some of Lafayette’s best-kept secrets,

as a bus takes you to see Lafayette’s most unique gardens.

Ted Viator, prominent Lafayette landscape architect, and Dan Gill, garden radio host and author, will team together to provide you with an unforgettable day.

We will start our tour at the Holiday Inn Holidome, 2032NE Evangeline Thruway, Lafayette, Louisiana. Plan to be there about 8:30 a.m. The bus will depart promptly at 9 a.m., for our first garden. There in the garden, you will be treated to coffee, orange juice and pastries. We will board our bus again and travel on to see more of Lafayette’s wonderful treasures. Our bus will stop at noon and we will have lunch at the beautiful new City Club. The bus will then journey on to see more of Lafayette’s charming gardens. Ending at our last garden with light refreshments and returning to the Holiday Inn about 4:30 p.m. When we are finished you will have seen eight impressive gardens. You will take home with you design ideas and gardening information you can put to use in your garden, and much to tell your friends.

Cost of the tour including lunch is $50.00
