SUBJECT: Recipes for new cookbook

With this letter, under the direction of our President, Margo Racca, we are 'kicking-off' this project to publish a brand new LGCF cookbook, entitled, "Cher', it's good, too!", and we are appealing to all LGCF members for assistance, participation and support.

Each club will receive several blank ‘recipe collection forms', but it will be up to the individual clubs to zerox the appropriate amount for their clubs, keeping in mind to reserve a blank form for this purpose, as we will be unable to furnish more.

In addition to the ‘regular catagories', there will be three 'new categories', as we believe a little ‘new' mixed in with the old 'tried & true, will be an interesting asset to this new cookbook, These new categories are:

1, "Kids in the Kitchen" - Suitable recipes for young beginners who are always eager to help Grandma or Mother while they are leaning something useful.
2. "Cooking for I or 2" - Great dishes, yet quick & easy & tastyl
3. "Ladies Day Out" .. Bridge Day? Canasta? A committee meeting? Can't meet without some goodies, can we?

Entry deadline we are aiming for is November 30, 2003. We want the cookbooks ready to sell for "LGCF Convention 2004" if at all possible. Please do all you can to expedite 'entries.' We will be accepting 'entries' anytime between now and November 30th.

It is most important that the 'instructions' be followed. Please read and follow exactly. We don't want to leave any recipes out due to improper submitting.

In order to make this a successful venture, it will take input from all clubs and members. We cannot do it alone. If not enough participation then Publication time may have to be extended to 2005, and this we don"t want to do.
