LGCF, Inc. one-time grants are available to club members for a Habitat for Humanity Landscaping Projects.

  • Requests of fifty ($50.00) to one hundred fifty ($150.00) dollars will be considered based on applications. Application deadline is Sept. 30, 2011.
  • Include in the application a sketch of the landscape plan, plants to be used, a budget, in-kind support and garden club participation.
  • Landscaping should include some permanent plantings.
  • Limit applications to three (3) pages.
  • A picture of the project, after it is completed, is due by July 15, 2012
  • A report of expenditures and before-and-after pictures are to be submitted upon completion.

LGCF, Inc. encourages all Garden Clubs to work with their local offices of Habitat for Humanity to locate homes in need of beautification.

Clubs can do plantings, provide gardening tools and supplies, and educate new homeowners on the care and maintenance of their new landscaping.
