Have not had a lot of response to the fact there will be lots of plants available this fall-winter.
U.S. 167 will be widened between Winnfield and Pineville and thus a number of plants need to be rescued.

The list includes bigleaf magnolia, pawpaws, Xmas ferns, etc.
Just email ([email protected]) back if you know of an area that could take on some of these plants or if you want some for your own area. The one area that has signed up is Restoration Park in West Monroe.

And, we have set Dec 2 as a day for rescuing. Will have more details as we get closer to the day but mark it on your calendar now.

We hope to have people who will help dig plants for the larger group plantings and then each person could also dig their own and take home as they leave.
