| Louisiana Garden Club
Federation, Inc. (LGCF) |
With members in eight geographic districts,
Louisiana Garden Club Federation is the largest volunteer gardening
organization in Louisiana. The LGCF, Inc. is governed by a Board of
Directors.
Having many Projects
and Programs, makes LGCF, Inc. a very diverse organization.
We encourage you to look at our many interesting activities. A very
community minded organization; we have sponsored the Cleanest
City Contest since 1958. The contest promotes a continuous
campaign against littering and strives to instill civic pride in our
citizens. It is a very popular and successful contest with towns and
cities throughout the state. |
 |
LGCF, Inc. also sponsors
youth garden clubs and programs. We'd be happy to get involved in your
child's school ground improvement projects. Your child can even enter
our Smokey Bear or Woodsy Owl Poster
Contest.
Do contact us if your child would like to participate. |

The environment is very important to us. Conservation and protection of
Louisiana's natural resources, environmental awareness, and
appreciation of the state's natural beauty are promoted by LGCF, Inc.
and its members.
We
present Awards
to outstanding projects in all these fields. |
|
We also award annual college Scholarships
to students. Our organization provides leadership in community service
programs, encourages roadside development and civic projects.
By
registering our oaks with the LIVE OAK
SOCIETY,
we aid in the conservation and preservation of ancient live oak trees.
